| One of the only two places where it's worth having your pictures developed. They do wonderful work. If you go often enough you don't even have to give your name - that's the point I've gotten to at 60 Minute and Magic Image - I feel like a celebrity. When they have a new employee it's a little unnerving though. |

| The other really, really great place to go to. The one thing Magic Image has that 60 Minute doesn't is a drive thru. I'm so lazy. |

| If you're from the South, the rags you clean with are probably monogrammed. I haven't taken it quite that far yet but I love monogramming. I hunted high and low for ages for a good place. I usually ended up mailing whatever I wanted done to my mom. But, now I go to Caskey Monogramming. They do a great job. I've lost track of how many things I've had done here - they're great. The only problem is that there are not a ton of fonts to choose from. That doesn't usually matter because most of the time you either want script or print. |

|
| I put Lori Jayne on my list because of the "exotic" monogramming I've seen at her store. I had one thing done here and it was done really well. But, it was probably double the price of other places. Everything's a trade off. It's super convenient - it's practically in the backyard of the Palm Beach Day Academy. Also, the choice of types of monograms seems almost limitless. When I have been in the store I stand there and think "What do I need monogrammed 'cause that's incredible" but it is a little pricey. |

Do you ever have days where you decide at that moment that life can not go on until you get your hair cut? Okay, maybe it's only me but the other day I couldn't let the morning pass until I got my daughter's hair "done". A friend of mine has been telling me about Danee Ritz so I figured it was as good as a time as any to try it out.
First of all, I love the location. It's right in my 'hood - right between Clematis and Datura. Second, I'm shocked I got in. Friday morning, not in season, and the place was hopping. Third, my daughter's stylist was forced to cut her hair with her sunglasses on. I asked her if she had ever had to do that before and she said no. Oh well, it'll get her ready for any celeb that comes in and doesn't want to be recognized. She was a sport about it. She told me she'd work around it.
My daughter's hair looks fab. I can't wait to go back for a mani and pedi.

| Are there any other florists around here? I don't think so. I love going into the back of this store. Breathe deeply. I find it very inspiring. It's also fun to go during the height of the season - everyone's rushing around - flowers are flying everywhere - it's very thrilling. I love getting flowers from here - they do a great job. My favorite color is pink if you were wondering |

| Wilheim's Rattan |
| 4701 Georgia, WPB |
| 833-4668 |
|
| This is probably the most unusual entry to my list. I don't really know why I included it except that if you really need your rattan redone (we are in Florida after all) this is the place to go. There are some places on Dixie to buy rattan but I'm not really familiar with them - drive from Forest Hill to Belvedere and you'll see them - but if you buy some fixer-upper rattan this is where you go to get it fixed. |

Dry cleaning is not big on my list of things I can't live with out. Coca-cola is number one if you were wondering. If a hurricane was coming I wouldn't go out and have dry cleaning done, I'd go out and buy a dozen cases of Cokes and put them on ice. But, if you really need a cleaners I think Spartan is the best place.
Another place I used to go to once mixed up my pants with someone who had a name similar to mine and I later met this girl and one of us said (I can't remember who) when we were introduced, "I think your pants were in my closet." It really helped us to bond. |

| Danny's Shoe Repair |
| 4203 Lake Ave., WPB |
| 833-7137 |
|
| After years of service it's inevitable that my Jack Rogers are going to fail me (most recently last Sunday). When that happens and you don't want to throw away a perfectly good pair of broken in sandals (and you're too cheap to buy a new pair like I am) try Danny's. If there's no hope for your shoes they'll let you know. I've taken a number of pairs of shoes there and they've resurrected a number of shoes for us. |

A decorator I know told me about this framing company. When I went in, I felt like I had gone into a candy store. There are so many gorgeous choices! What do I need framed???
Getting There: The building is just south of the Norton Museum. The shop itself is in a fun location (you know I love those) behind the building. |

| Framemakers |
| 1649 Forum Place #8, WPB |

|
| I think good places to have your stuff framed are just as important as say, monogramming. Vital information. I was recommended to Framemakers by a friend who had loads of things done here and I've had things done (a great mirror that looks like it was custom designed to go with the table that it's hanging over) and I've seen the work he's done for other friends and he does a great job. The store is behind the Forum buildings on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. |

I used to be into bike riding before it was cool so I have a few opinions about bikes (like I don't have opinions about anything else!). I really think this is a great bike shop. They carry a good collection of bikes and they can order you loads of others. Their service is also very good if you need to get you bike fixed. I've bought at least 5 bikes from them.
They're on Military just south of Okeechobee behind an army type store. |
