I know, you're not from here. I'm not. Well, I've been here for more than 14 years so I might as well be. Pretty much almost everyone I meet started out somewhere else. That's fine by me. I think it makes this place more interesting. The question "What do you do?" gets bumped down below "Where are you from?"

While chatting about people's previous locations is interesting, we usually get around to things like where to go and what to do.

I not only get asked these question by people I've just met but also perfect strangers. While I'm eating with my kids I'll get asked where I got my food (can be embarrassing, that one). My kids have also noted that I always get asked for directions. I get stopped in my car, while walking or excercising, even once while waiting for the bus with my kids (that time I had to pull out my high school Spanish). So, this guide is intended to answer all of those "where do I get..." questions while the directions can be helped by a good GPS.
